1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Safelink ("we", "our", "us") at safelink.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. Your continued use of Safelink constitutes acceptance of any updates to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Safelink provides proxy contact links that allow marketplace sellers to share a redirect URL in their listings instead of exposing their real phone number or messaging handle. When a buyer clicks the link, they are redirected to the seller's chosen messaging channel.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Safelink only for legitimate marketplace selling purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using Safelink to send or facilitate spam
• Any illegal activity or content that violates applicable law
• Harassment, threats, or abusive contact targeting any individual
• Impersonating another person, business, or brand
• Creating more than one link per real marketplace listing
• Pointing links to anything other than a legitimate messaging contact — WhatsApp, Messenger, or Telegram handles only

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any link or account that violates these rules without prior notice.

4. Free Tier Limits

The free tier is subject to the following restrictions:

• Maximum of 3 active links at any one time
• Each link expires automatically after 48 hours
• Active hours and date range restrictions are not available

No sign-up is required to create a free link. Anonymous free links cannot be recovered or transferred.

5. Pro Subscription

The Pro plan costs $5 per month and is billed through PayPal. By subscribing you authorise PayPal to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial months already billed
• Your subscription and billing are managed entirely through PayPal — we do not store your payment details

6. Link Expiry and Deletion

Links expire automatically based on the duration you selected at creation. Once a link expires it stops redirecting visitors. Deleted links cannot be recovered — the underlying contact information is permanently removed from our database. We reserve the right to delete links that have been inactive for more than 90 days without prior notice.

7. Privacy

We store your contact information solely to power redirects. It is never sold, shared, or used for any other purpose. For full details on how we handle your data, please read our Privacy Policy.

8. No Warranty

Safelink is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee 100% uptime, uninterrupted service, or that the service will be free from errors or security vulnerabilities. Use of Safelink is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Safelink and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. This includes but is not limited to missed buyer contacts, lost sales, or any spam received prior to adopting Safelink.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Safelink after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
